I just love the simple, timeless feel of a black & white portrait! I imagine these prints hanging on walls, being gifted to grandparents, and passed down as a special heirloom piece. I love that they capture your child at this very moment and this specific age— their little (or big!) personality and ever-changing facial features captured in a photo that will be cherish for years to come.

Oh, this session… so near and dear to my heart! The beach has always been such a special place to me and so many of my childhood memories involve our summer trips to the beach. Something about sitting on the beach at dusk watching the sun set and listening to the waves crash- it’s humbling to say the least. So when this beautiful backdrop collided with photographing this joyful and stunning family, magic happened! It was such an honor photographing Olga and her family and capturing such a sweet season of their lives.

I just adored this session with Christal and her two babies. Everything came together perfectly on this chilly Spring evening to create some beautiful photos. I was so excited to find this little gem of a location with it’s blooming trees and rosemary bushes, stone steps, and beautiful light. I love the outfits Christal chose for herself and her kids, as well as the flower crown that adds an element of texture and interest to the photos. But what really makes these pictures special is the love and connection between these three. I am always inspired by mothers and truly feel like every momma needs a gallery of timeless images to pass down to their children. Enjoy looking through these and let me know which one is your favorite.
