Whew! My last post was in September (If I could figure out how to add an emoji I would add the monkey covering it’s eyes)!

Between being a wife & momma, and just keeping up with life, blogging has been low on the priority list. But, I do love sharing my work so that you can get a better vision of what a session with me is like….and boy do I have a lot to share! I thought I’d start with sharing some of my favorites from some recent “mini” sessions I did back in February. These were right around Valentine’s Day so I wanted to make them feel soft & romantic. I kept the props and backdrops simple to highlight the connection between the moms & little ones (and you might see a dad or two in there as well!). I had a coffee bar set up for the parents, and had a local baker make some of the most amazing logo cookies as a thank-you. (Go check her out on Instagram! @sarahbakescookies)

These sessions were so much fun and I hope to do them again next year!

I got to photograph this precious momma and her boy back in the Spring. It was such an honor to be able to capture this sweet time for them waiting on baby brother. And for those photo nerds out there, I shot about half of these with my 35mm film camera :)

My sweet Hanna Mercy was seven months August 17th! This girl is such a joy. I’m savoring this sweet time when she’s perfectly content being toted around on my hip or sitting in my lap. She gives the biggest, slobbery-est kisses and manages travel all around the room with her very efficient army crawl.
